Thank you so much for you interest in this year's Pilipino Cultural Night (PCN 2023). For those of you who aren't familiar with the tradition, every year AFIA puts on a cultural night where we share Filipino culture through a series of performances and acts. The past two years have been theatrical productions, but this year we're switching it up with an eventful night full of everything Pinoy: Traditional Folk dances? Check. OPM & karaoke? Check. Cultural traditions and national history? Check. Sini-'gang' jokes? Check. Lumpia and halo-halo? Check and check. 

It's going to be a huge undertaking, so we definitely need all hands on deck. We have something available for everyone of all skill levels, so don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Even if you don't feel comfortable with singing, dancing, or acting...that's why I'm here, to help and guide you through every step of the way :DD 

And no, you don't have to be Filipino to be in PCN, the whole point of this program is to introduce and share our culture with as many people as we can!

Trust me (and anyone who's been involved with PCN before), it's one heck of a ride, but some of my favorite memories here at AU have been during PCN practices and with the cast. I don't regret my time with AFIA and PCN, and I'm sure you won't regret it either.
