Elections 2023-2024
A message from the Presedent-elect…
As the academic year comes to a close, it is time for us to begin the process of electing new officers for AFIA. This is an exciting time for all of us, and you can be part of the team that continues the growth and success of our organization.
What’s the team like?
The leadership of our club plays a critical role in shaping our activities and guiding our efforts to achieve our goals. There are a total of 12 positions (listed at the bottom of this page) that you may choose to run for. There is one elected position, and the rest are appointed.
What should I do to apply?
If you wish to apply for an elected position, you are required to submit a platform (a concise statement outlining your candidacy and qualifications), and current AFIA members will take a vote in order for you to be elected.
For those applying for an appointed position, the official application must be completed, and you must schedule an interview with the 2023-2024 AFIA President, Dawson Par (instructions in the application). This process aims to ensure that qualified individuals are selected to fill the appointed roles within the organization.
We encourage all interested members to step forward and consider running for office. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our club and to gain valuable experience in leadership and organizational management.
